spread and stick

 Last year I worked with multiple stickers, recomposing and arranging them into various formations. Here is a small selection of those. These images don't have the best light, but you get the idea.

I was working with ideas of control vs chaos, patterns of behaviour and instinctual or subconscious reaction.

This project is currently unresolved. I would love to create these on a larger scale where more abstraction could take place.

There is a degree of forced control and decision within each placement due to the nature of stickers on paper- removable only through damage once placed on the paper.

This will be a little blog for me to sort out, share and reflect on my ideas and work- as well as explore inspiration! I am hoping that this process will help me to gage a better understanding of my own work, allowing me to further resolve, justify and articulate my ideas in the future. I also hope others can stop by every now and again as feedback is always helpful!
